The story about an 11-year-old girl who suddenly loses her single father and is then forced to live with an alcoholic aunt on a dilapidated family farm. Once Harper helps her aunt get into recovery, she lives in harmony with the farm and its lifestyle, discovering a sense of calm and security. This new life is upended, however, when her rich Southern Belle mother, who abandoned her at birth, reappears to claim her daughter for purely selfish reasons. Once Harper's aunt finds out about the miserable conditions Harper has been subjected to, she springs into action as her love leads the way. Harper is reunited with her aunt as they return to the farm where she finds her own happy place once more.

In rural California, Anna (Marié Botha) is hosting a New Year's Eve party. Nina (Juliette Labelle), a long-gone friend from high school unexpectedly shows up, bringing out the sexual yearnings of Maria (Aisha Fabienne Ross). The subsequent health and environmental damage will take generations, and in some cases thousands of years to heal. Our ground water, wells, drinking water, air and soil are contaminated with some of the most toxic heavy metals known to man – and yet we still have no firm plan in place for the storage of tons of nuclear materials we produce every year.

Big Daddy’s farm-grown weed is the best in North America, but when he discovers a new strain that literally blows your mind - the feds decide to put him out of business.
