Prey for Rock and Roll

"Prey for Rock & Roll" is the adrenaline-filled story of a contemporary LA all-girl punk band led by singer/guitarist Jacki (Gina Gershon), bassist Tracy (Drea De Matteo), lead guitarist Faith (Lori Petty), and drummer Sally (Shelly Cole). The directing debut of esteemed music supervisor/producer Alex Steyermark, the film captures the color and energy of a veteran band struggling to make it while personal obstacles and disturbing new events threaten to tear them apart.

Meanwhile, a clothing store employee (Rachael Leigh Cook) has plans for revenge against a local millionaire (John Cleese).

Secondhand Lions

"Secondhand Lions" follows the comedic adventures of an introverted 14 year-old boy (Haley Joel Osment) who reluctantly finds himself spending the summer with a pair of cranky, eccentric great-uncles (Michael Caine and Robert Duvall). At first appalled by their gruff uncaring manner, over time he becomes enthralled with his uncles as the exotic tales and remembrances of their own youthful exploits introduce the boy to a world of imagination and wonder and re-ignites the old men's spirits.

Spider

Spider is a strange and lonely man. After a long period in a mental institution, he returns to the streets of the East End of London where he grew up. The sights and sounds and the smells of those streets begin to awaken the deeply buried memories of his childhood. At the centre of these memories is the great trauma of losing his mother, a trauma which occurred, he believes, because his plumber father, Bill Cleg, murdered her in order to move a prostitute, Yvonne, into the house in her place.

Spun

A three-day drug adventure awaits the speed junkies in "Spun". Jason Schwartzman ("Rushmore") stars as a young speed addict who embarks on an adventure with his dealer, played by John Leguizamo, and the drug chemist, played by Mickey Rourke. Patrick Fugit ("Almost Famous") plays a fellow speed addict, while Brittany Murphy and Mena Suvari play girlfriends of the drug dealers.

Super Sucker

"Super Sucker" is a hilarious comedy about rival door-to-door vacuum cleaner sales teams. In addition to writing and directing, Jeff Daniels, once again, the underdog heads up his team of misfits as Fred Barlow. Barlow meets Howard Butterworth, played by fellow Michigan native and Purple Rose Theatre (a repertory theatre founded by Daniels) alumnus Matt Letscher ('Good Morning Miami'). The two, with the help of Purple Rose Theatre veterans Leonard (Guy Sanville), Rhonda (Sandra Birch), Shelby (John Seibert) and Darlene (Kate Peckham) team up against Barlow's cross-town rival, and nemesis, Winslow Schnaebelt. Schnaebelt, played by Harve Presnell is the razzle-dazzle red-suited competitor who will do anything to undermine Barlow. Barlow and Schnaebelt battle for territory and survival in a ‘winner takes all' contest.

The Holy Land

Set in the world's holiest city during the dawn of the new century as fanatical Christians from across the globe arrive in hopes of provoking a confrontation between the many extremist Arabs and Jews, the plot of "The Holy Land" focuses on Menachem Weinbaum ("Mendy"),a young rabbinical student who is restless to learn about the bigger world. On the advice of his slightly demented teacher, Mendy visits a brothel in Tel Aviv so he can be rid of his 'madness' and return tohis studies. There he meets Sasha, a nineteen-year-old Russian prostitute, whose dire situation and immense beauty captivates him. But Mendy's world really opens up when he discovers Mike's Place, a real-life magnet for the lost souls who flock to Jerusalem. The Italian Job

A band of thieves, led by Charlie Croker (Mark Wahlberg), pulls off the ultimate heist by rigging the stoplights of the city of Los Angeles so that they can drive right out of the city with a carful of gold (in a safe that they're stealing back after Croker's double-crossing ex-partner, played by Edward Norton, stole it from Croker first), with nothing but greenlights, while everyone else gets redlights, thus keeping the roads plugged with the largest traffic jam in L.A. history, and the police from pursuing them. Aiding their escape is the fact that the bandits are driving BMW Mini Coopers (tiny cars), so they're able to use sidewalks and the subway system in addition to L.A.'s streets and highways. That, of course, is how it's *supposed* to work...

The Singing Detective

Chicago residential novelist Dan Dark (Robert Downey Jr.), crippled by a horribly severe case of psioriasis, starts rewriting his 1950s noir novel "The Singing Detective" in his mind in a desperate effort to hang on to his sanity. Becoming the title character himself, he heads off in pursuit of Nazis in the 1940's who serve in place of his own personal demons. With the help of eccentric psychologist, Dr Gibbon (Gibson), who uses the book as a road map into the Dan Dark's psyche, he slowly liberates himself from the trauma of his childhood.

"11:14" tells the seemingly random yet vitally connected story of a set of incidents that all converge one evening at 11:14pm. It's a sort of musical chairs with a corpse, with the structurally intriguing storytelling style of Memento and Run Lola Run. The story starts at - 11:14pm - one evening with a young man named Jack who is driving down the freeway, on his way to a rendezvous with his girlfriend. His car hits a body at that moment. Thinking he killed him, Jack tries to hide the body. From there, we backtrack to follow the chain of events of five different characters and five different storylines that all converge and become party to Jack's hitting the body at 11:14pm.

2 Fast 2 Furious

Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker), stripped of his badge after the events of the first film, gets a chance to redeem himself by going undercover to infiltrate the world of Miami street racing.

Newly commissioned SS Lieutenant and respected civilian chemist, Kurt Gerstein, discovers that the Zyklon B pellets he has developed to disinfect soldiers' drinking water are being used to gas interred Jews by the thousands. Recruited to help streamline the death camp process by a team of SS officers, Gerstein secretly approaches the Swedish Consulate, the German Protestant community and finally Vatican representatives in the hopes of exposing this unspeakable crime. The only one who listens is Father Ricardo, a young Jesuit priest with deep family connections at the Vatican. Ricardo promises Gerstein he will alert the Pope to the Jewish genocide in hopes that the pontiff will reveal and denounce the Final Solution to the Christian world...

American Wedding
