Andy is now a young adult, departing for college, and his toys, including Woody and Buzz Lightyear, are being sent to storage. Before his toys can be put in the attic, they are accidentally thrown away and are picked up by the garbage men. The toys find themselves at a local day-care center where they must try to survive pre-school children.

In Julie Taymor's version of "The Tempest," the gender of Prospero has been switched to Prospera. Shakespeare's play mixes romance with fraternal politics and the supernatural. As revised for the screen, it will center around Prospera (Mirren), her daughter Miranda (Jones) and a shipwrecked crew full of Prospera's enemies.

Seven people are passing time one late evening at a small roadside diner in the middle of nowhere. Allen and Terry idolize the city's top cops, Danson and Manzetti (Dwayne Johnson and Samuel L. Jackson), but when an opportunity arises for the "Other Guys" to step up, things don't quite go as planned.
