A couple desperate to have a child finds themselves in an unbearable position when they discover that the surrogate they hired to carry their baby is insane.

Details of the plot are being kept under wraps, but the story centers on an archeological discovery that sets off a globe-spanning race. The goal is to create a movie that will be to "Raiders of the Lost Ark" what the "Bourne" movies are to James Bond movies: a character-driven, treasure-hunting thriller.

The story centers on a young fictionalized Jack London, before he became a best-selling author, as he treks the frozen north in the midst of the Gold Rush, finds many perils in the Yukon Territory, and discovers the truth behind some of the monstrous legends of the wild.

A worldwide pandemic of spontaneous combustion will reduce civilization to ashes unless it can be stopped by an improbable group of heroes led by an enigmatic man known as The Fireman. It's no simple blaze: the condition starts as an inky stripe on a bodypart, looking like a tattoo. It's a highly contagious deadly spore that eventually causes the sufferer to burst into flames. Millions are infected; among them is a nurse who treated numerous sufferers until they eventually perished, with the hospital burned to the ground. For "Senior Night," a high school rents out an amusement park for the entire senior class where everyone rides the rides and plays the games as much as they want with no lines and no rules. The only drawback: students start dying on the rides in elaborate ways. All the exits are sealed, and there is a killer on the loose turning all the rides into ways of punishing the bullies and the so called "bad" people at school. Kids from all different cliques have to band together to figure out who the killer is and how to stop them.

The story is about a renowned divorce attorney whose wife has been kidnapped and will be killed unless he takes his own life at midnight.
