"Rodrick Rules," which will be based on the second book in the "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" series, follows middle school student Greg Heffley, his older brother Rodrick, and the school talent show.

A teenage girl moves to a small town, to find nothing in common with the stoner-hicks who populate her highschool. So she begins an affair with her teacher. But with a serial killer on the loose and townsfolk disappearing around them, their relationship takes a turn for the worse. She breaks off the relationship and the rejection makes her teacher crazy.

An ex-cop turned private investigator, is one of the few living humans to know the truth about the supernatural beings that exist on the fringes of the modern world. He takes on cases involving vampires, werewolves, zombies, and other strange creatures -- sometimes as adversaries, and sometimes as clients. He always gets his man—alive, dead, or undead.
