In Dope, Malcolm (Shameik Moore) is carefully surviving life in a tough neighborhood in Los Angeles while juggling college applications, academic interviews, and the SAT. A chance invitation to an underground party leads him into an adventure that could allow him to go from being a geek, to being dope, to ultimately being himself.

The film follows a mild-mannered radio executive (Will Ferrell) who strives to become the best stepdad to his wife’s two children, but complications ensue when their freewheeling and freeloading real father (Mark Wahlberg) arrives, forcing him to compete for the affection of the kids.

"Biblical archaeologist" DON VERDEAN starts falsifying his findings after his wacky search for the Skull of Goliath meets with disaster at every turn. Verdean subsequently sets out to locate the Holy Grail for a deep-pockets Chinese magnate -- another wild and woolly adventure that ends in chaos. But when he's ultimately called to account for his massive frauds, Don Verdean realizes just what in life is really important.

The story centers on a couple with the perfect destination wedding. The problem is that all of their friends from college are coming and when this crew gets together, the only thing that is promised is that everything that can go wrong will go wrong. What is the worst that can happen with 12 friends, too much tequila, and everything caught on tape? It's a wedding video everyone will want to forget, if only they can find it.
