The film revolves around two old friends and the woman who comes between them in a small American town. Long's character returns to his hometown after his father's death and begins an affair with the wife (Chriqui) of his best friend (Malby).

Lawrence Horn, a former record producer and Motown Records executive, is sentenced to life in prison for hiring Detroit-based hit man James Perry to murder his wife, quadriplegic son and the wealthy family's overnight nurse at their suburban home in Silver Spring, Maryland. Horn's son is the victim of medical malpractice and as the result of a subsequent lawsuit, has a trust worth nearly $2 million, which his father stands to inherit in the wake of his death. Detectives discovers that Perry used how-to book "Hit Man: A Technical Manual for Independent Contractors" as a guide to execute the murders. The families of the victims go on to file a class-action lawsuit against the Colorado-based publisher Paladin Press. The attorneys representing the families then hire Rodney Smolla, a First Amendment attorney and professor at William & Mary Law School, to consult on the historic case, which takes five years to settle amidst a series of shocking and bizarre developments.

A man gets himself incarcerated so he can search for treasure hidden somewhere in the prison.

A 26-year-old is a law clerk for an aging Supreme Court justice and also the swing vote on the court. The clerk has three days to save the life of his girlfriend when she's abducted in a plot to sway his boss's vote.

Bryant, a man with a mysterious past moves to a small Mexican border-town to start over and live the simple life. While there, he reluctantly befriends a troubled local teen who recently lost his morning and is being recruited by a local street gang. To keep him on the straight & narrow, Bryant takes him under his wing and introduces him to martial arts. As the story unfolds, we learn Bryant is more complex, running from a violent past. As it catches up to him, he is forced into a life and death struggle to clear his name, save the boy and get back all he left behind.

The comedy, set in a Catholic high school, will follow Bobby Funke, a bullied sophomore investigating the theft of the school's SAT exams for St. Dominick's newspaper. Willis will play principal John T. Kirkpatrick, a Desert Storm veteran fond of recounting pungent anecdotes from his time liberating Kuwait and barking inspiring speeches such as: "Gentlemen, you are filth. Your parents have either spoiled or abused you to such a degree that your hearts have become black and lifeless. Your brains are warped, your souls doomed. There is no hope for any of you."
