Plot: What's the story about?
Based on an episode of NPR's "This American Life", "Niagara" (only a working title) will tell the story of an ex-con who plays organ at a wedding chapel near Niagara Falls. When he hears that his estranged son is planning to go over the falls in a barrel to earn a few bucks, the father decides to rob a bank to get him the cash instead. Of course, the robbery is botched, the father is implicated in a murder, and he ends up on the run from the law.
