It's Christmas Eve in New York City and with some help from each other—and more importantly, from themselves—five people will discover new meaning on Christmas Day... In stark contrast to her success as a book editor, Rose's (Susan Sarandon) personal life is in disarray. Burdened by a recent divorce and charged as sole caretaker of her ailing mother, she finds herself hopeless and lonely when her holiday doldrums are interrupted by Charlie—an unexpected friend—who reminds her that no one is ever truly alone at Christmas. New York City police officer Mike Riley (Paul Walker) had planned to spend the holiday with his fiancée, Nina (Penélope Cruz),when his own paranoia and misplaced jealousy drive her away. Nina leaves to seek solace with relatives and reevaluate her future with Mike. In her absence, Mike learns from the tragic past of a stranger, Artie (Alan Arkin),where his jealousy can lead. Jules (Marcus Thomas) has a single happy Christmas memory, when he was fourteen. Today, a troubled twenty-something with no family and friends to speak of, he plans to recapture that happiness through extreme measures, but first must find the courage to step beyond his past to find true contentment.

Ben Stiller portrays risk-averse Reuben Feffer, whose best-laid plans for life and love careen wildly off track when his bride (Debra Messing) dumps him on their honeymoon for a muscle-bound scuba instructor (Hank Azaria). Stunned, humiliated and in the grip of acute indigestion, Reuben plans to play it safer than ever. But a chance encounter with an adventure-craving, childhood friend named Polly (Jennifer Aniston) shoots him into a whirlwind of extreme sports, spicy foods, ferrets, salsa dancing and living in the moment.

Four weeks after the first film, Bridget Jones is already beginning to have trouble with her relationship with Mark Darcy. Aside from the fact that he is a conservative voter, she also has to deal with a new boss and a truly terrible vacation.

Intricately stepping back and forth in time and revealing the story from each character's perspective, "Wicker Park" is an intense psychological drama about a man (Josh Hartnett) caught in an obsessive search for a woman he fell deeply in love with - a woman who then vanished without a trace. Two years after her disappearance, he catches a fleeting glimpse of her in a local bar and begins a twisting search to find her and discover what really happened.

Joanna (Nicole Kidman) and her husband (Matthew Broderick) move to the beautiful upper-class suburb of Stepford, where she soon starts to suspect something is strange and artificial about her new female neighbors. The wives living in the houses around them all seem to be too perfect, with bland, character-less personalities. Everyone that is, except her new friend Bobbie (Bette Midler), who as a cranky, sarcastic, non-exercising alcoholic still has some semblance of personality and independence. As Joanna and Bobbie investigate their neighbors further, they discover that there is indeed something artificial about them, something... robotic, the result of the husbands banding together to replace their human wives with cyborg copies who are subservient, sexually compliant and devoid of any distinguishing character traits. Will Joanna and Bobbie be the next ones replaced by perfect robotic clones?

In "Walking Tall", Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson plays Chris Vaughn, a retired soldier who returns to his hometown to make a new life for himself, only to discover his wealthy high school rival, Jay Hamilton (Neal McDonough), has closed the once-prosperous lumber mill and turned the town's resources towards his own criminal gains. The place Chris grew up is now overrun with crime, drugs, and violence. Enlisting the help of his old pal Ray Templeton (Johnny Knoxville), Chris gets elected sheriff and vows to shut down Hamilton's operations. His actions endanger his family and threaten his own life, but Chris refuses to back down until his hometown once again feels like home.

A scientific expedition is assembled by a powerful pharmaceutical company to search for a rare black orchid in the deep recesses of the jungles of Borneo. Their hope is that the orchid can be used to unlock the secrets of youth and immortality. What they soon discover is that the orchid is already being used by a denizen host of giant snakes to augment their strength, size and vitality—not to mention their appetites.

Mia, now ready to assume her role as princess of Genovia, has moved into the Royal Palace with her beautiful, wise grandmother Queen Clarisse. However, she soon learns her days as a princess are numbered—Mia's got to lose the tiara and immediately take the crown herself. As if getting ready to rule wasn't enough, the stakes for Mia have never been higher—with Genovian law stating that princesses must be married before being crowned, Mia's in for a parade of suitors who'd all like to be her king.

A film noir centering around a hard-boiled, stylish kingpin drug dealer, called King David, who returns to his hometown seeking redemption—but ends up only finding violent death. King David's final moments are spent with Paul, an aspiring journalist who knew him for just a few minutes; yet King David would forever more have an impact on Paul's life. Half preacher, half Satan, and all street smarts, King David had recorded the story of his exploits on audiotape, leaving behind an often-poetic sermon on villainy and its consequences. The tapes reveal that the cycle of violence and retribution, which his actions have spawned, has come back to him, full circle, as he suspected they might all along.
