When he's downsized from his job, Larry Crowne (Tom Hanks) decides to reinvent himself by enrolling in college, where he forms some unexpected bonds with fellow students, while also catching the eye of Mercedes Tainot, a female professor played by Julia Roberts.

Nine-year-old Milo (Seth Green) finds out just how much he needs his mom (Joan Cusack) when she’s nabbed by Martians who plan to steal her mom-ness for their own young. The animated film showcases Milo's quest to save his mom—an adventure that involves stowing away on a spaceship, navigating an elaborate, multi-level planet and taking on the alien nation and their leader (Mindy Sterling). With the help of a tech-savvy, underground earthman named Gribble (Dan Fogler) and a rebel Martian girl called Ki (Elisabeth Harnois), Milo just might find his way back to his mom—in more ways than one.

The story is set in an area of coastal Texas dotted with oil refineries known to locals as "The Fields." There, a homicide detective (Sam Worthington) fights two sets of fierce killers to save the life of a street kid named Little Anne. Jessica Chastain plays Worthington's ex-wife, a former rodeo queen who likewise is a homicide detective and also determined to the find the killers, with or without his help.

Meteors shoot into the ocean a couple of miles off the coast of Los Angeles. Minutes later, beachgoers witness a strange alien like army oozing out of the water. Dexter (Jim Sturgess) and Emma (Anne Hathaway) meet for the first time during their graduation and proceed to meet one day a year for the next 20 years. They experience different lives and loves until they realize they are meant for each other.

A first person documentary of Tom Shadyac (helmer of bigscreen comedies including "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective" and "Bruce Almighty") on his unusual journey of self-discovery. Film includes interviews with Noam Chomsky, Howard Zinn and Desmond Tutu, among others.

"Transformers 3" features Sam Witwicky (LaBeouf) taking his first tenuous steps into adulthood while remaining a reluctant human ally of Optimus Prime. The film centers around the space race between the U.S.S.R. and the USA, suggesting there was a hidden Transformers role in it all that remains one of the planet's most dangerous secrets. The villain of the third film will be Shockwave.

Several intersecting stories unfold at one high school as the big dance approaches; Prom portrays the precarious passage from high school to independence as some relationships unravel and others ignite. For Nova Prescott (Aimee Teegarden), it's a battle of wills as she finds herself drawn to the guy (Thomas McDonell) who gets in the way of her perfect prom. Fellow seniors Mei (Yin Chang) and Tyler (De'Vaughn Nixon) harbor secrets, while others face all the insecurity and anticipation that surrounds one of high school's most important events.
