In the movie, Will (Alexander Ludwig) is befriended by the mischievous Merriman Lyon (played by Ian McShane) and the ethereal Miss Greythorne (Frances Conroy). Set in the 1970s, the film follows adult Ralphie (Peter Billingsley) returning to the house on Cleveland Street to deliver his kids a magical Christmas like the one he had growing up.
