Set in the affluent beach community of Palos Verdes, California, two teenagers, Medina and Jim, move to the beach town from Michigan with their parents. Medina turns to surfing to escape her troubled home life.

Follow the soul of a recently executed serial killer as he descends back to earth and possesses his many followers beneath the full moon. There’s Alice, an escaped mental patient who thinks she’s living in the 1950s glamour world, Blondie, a beautiful seductress who lures men down into her suburban basement, the Midnight Strangler, first seen claiming a victim in a seedy hotel, and an enigmatic masked contract killer who stalks the city with his own deadly agenda.

The story will focus on the complex relationship between John Gotti Jr. and his father -- the flamboyant head of the Gambino crime family in New York, who spent the last decade of his life in prison before dying of cancer in 2002.

When the population of Los Angeles is vacuumed off the face of the earth, Detective Mark Corley (Frank Grillo) storms his way onto an alien ship to rescue his estranged son. Decorated homicide detective Ray Archer (Al Pacino) partners with criminal profiler Will Ruiney (Karl Urban) to catch one of the city's notoriously vicious serial killers, who is playing a twisted version of murder using the child's game… HANGMAN, while journalist Christi Davies (Brittany Snow) reports on the crime spree, shadowing the detectives.
