Storyline
In the 1920's, Bill Tilden dominates tennis and wins six straight US Open singles titles, including becoming the first American to win Wimbledon. As much as he is celebrated, he is also extremely self destructive, goes to jail twice for sexual misbehavior with teenage boys and ultimately dies penniless.
