For the past 12 months, DEA agent Bobby Trench (Washington) and U.S. naval intelligence officer Marcus Stigman (Wahlberg) have been reluctantly attached at the hip. Working undercover as members of a narcotics syndicate, each man distrusts his partner as much as the criminals they have both been tasked to take down.

When their attempt to infiltrate a Mexican drug cartel and recover millions goes haywire, Trench and Stigman are suddenly disavowed by their superiors. Now that everyone wants them in jail or in the ground, the only person they can count on is the other. Unfortunately for their pursuers, when good guys spend years pretending to be bad, they pick up a few tricks along the way.

Gina is pushing Ryan, her boyfriend and struggling actor, for the lead in the horror movie Christian is producing. Unbeknownst to either Christian or Gina: Ryan and Tara were a couple three years ago. When Ryan came back into Tara's life during the auditions for the movie, they reignited their affair. But Christian, a dangerous control-freak, finds out about the affair and starts playing cruel mind games with both Tara and Ryan, which escalate into an act of bloody violence.

In German occupied France of 1943, an elderly sculptor and his wife live in a small town close to the Spanish border. Several years have passed since the 80 year old artist Marc Cros (Jean Rochfort) stopped sculpting. He has lived through two wars and is disillusioned by the world around him. One day his wife (Claudia Cardinale) brings home a young woman she sees in the streets. Her name is Merce (Aida Folch) and she is on the run from Franco’s army.
