A young male stock broker’s life is turned upside when he follows his passion for music and takes a side gig playing saxophone in a local night club. He makes the mistake of falling for the lead singer, a notorious femme fatale who happens to be married to the local gangster. A man who is very possessive, very violent and controls everything in their town.

Master explorer Dirk Pitt (Matthew McConaughey) takes on the adventure of his life when he embarks on a treasure hunt through some of the most dangerous regions of West Africa. Searching for what locals call "The Ship of Death", a long lost Civil War battleship which protects a secret cargo, Pitt and his wisecracking sidekick (Steve Zahn) use their wits and clever heroics to help Doctor Eva Rojas (Penelope Cruz) when they realize the ship may be linked to mysterious deaths in the very same area.

Batman (Christian Bale) raises the stakes in his war on crime in Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight." With the help of Lieutenant Jim Gordon (Gary Oldman) and District Attorney Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart), Batman sets out to dismantle the remaining criminal organizations that plague the city streets. "The Departed" is set in South Boston, where the state police force is waging war on organized crime. Spanning over two decades, For the Love of Money follows the true account of a Jewish immigrant who searches for his piece of the American dream. The story begins in Tel Aviv in 1973, where young Izek is raised in a seedy, gangster filled illegal casino that operates behind his family’s bar. The casino is a haven for unsavory characters who seek to corrupt him to their way of life. When violence and crime finds its way to him and his family, Izek (played by Yuda Levi) and his family relocate to Los Angeles. Hoping to start anew, he pursues his ambitions. Success seems to find him at every turn and after falling in love with the beautiful Aline (Delphine Chanéac), Lady luck seems to be on his side. However, it isn’t long before the world of crime that Izek tried to escape so long ago continues to doggedly follow his every step. Threatened by a temperamental gangster (James Caan), his criminal cousin (Oded Fehr), and even a Colombian drug lord (Steven Bauer), Izek finds that starting with a clean slate is all but impossible. As those close to him fall victim to the promises of quick money by the way of the gun, violence surrounds Izek until he has no choice but to confront it.

John Travolta (Academy Award Nominee) stars as the legendary mobster John Gotti who was head of the largest and most powerful crime organization in North America, the Gambino Family. His flamboyant style, charm and ruthless personae made him the most famous mobster in the 20th Century. The story, told through the eyes of his eldest son John Gotti, Jr. delves into the past and explores Gotti’s epic rise and fall in the mob. He earned the name “Teflon Don” by the media whom he did not shy away from, due to the FBI’s numerous unsuccessful attempts to convict Gotti. At the end, he was sentenced to life in prison, and a young 24 year old Gotti Jr. becomes the acting Boss of the Family. Gotti Jr. is also investigated and arrested in his own connections to crime by the FBI. Gotti Jr. ultimately rejects the legacy he was born into, and walks away a “civilian”.

"The A-Team" follows the exciting and daring exploits of Hannibal Smith and his colorful team of former Special Forces soldiers who were set up for a crime they did not commit. Going "rogue," they utilize their unique talents – and eccentricities – to try and clear their names and find the true culprit.

An adrenalin-charged action thriller, "The Condemned" tells the story of Joe Conrad (Stone Cold Steve Austin), who is awaiting the death penalty in a corrupt Central American prison. He is "purchased" by a wealthy television producer and taken to a desolate island where he must fight to the death against nine other condemned killers from all corners of the world, with freedom going to the sole survivor.

The story centers on a twentysomething slacker and a bank employee who get caught in the middle of a bank heist and are forced to arbitrate between the robbers and the police.

Dwayne Johnson stars as a father whose teenage son is wrongly accused of a drug distribution crime and is looking at a mandatory minimum prison sentence of 10 years. Desperate and determined to rescue his son at all costs, he makes a deal with the U.S. attorney to work as an undercover informant and infiltrate a drug cartel on a dangerous mission -- risking everything, including his family and his own life.

An urban action thriller with a sexy 21st-century Bonnie and Clyde. In "Edison", a young journalist (Justin Timberlake) uncovers an elite unit of corrupt cops. Realizing that he's over his head, he makes an uneasy alliance with a burnt-out reporter (Morgan Freeman) and the DA's ace investigator (Kevin Spacey).

The story centers on the widespread corruption in the Community Resources Against Street Hoodlums (or CRASH) anti-gang unit of the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Rampart Division in the late 1990s. More than 70 police officers were implicated in varied misconduct.

Inspired by actual events, The Iceman follows notorious contract killer Richard Kuklinski (Michael Shannon) from his early days in the mob until his arrest for the murder of more than 100 men. Appearing to be living the American dream as a devoted husband and father; in reality Kuklinski was a ruthless killer-for-hire. When finally arrested in 1986, neither his wife nor daughters have any clue about his real profession.

Story centers on a Mafia boss who trains his mentally impaired son as his successor.

Mickey Haller (Matthew McConaughey) is a Los Angeles criminal defense attorney who operates out of the back of his Lincoln Continental sedan. Haller has spent most of his career defending garden-variety criminals, until he lands the case of a lifetime: defending a Beverly Hills playboy accused of murder. But the seemingly straightforward case suddenly develops into a deadly game of survival for Haller.

The film is about a man who believes that he left behind his family's ties to organized crime, only to find that easier said than done upon returning to Philadelphia. It was inspired by the real life experiences of Joseph Pistone, the FBI agent otherwise known as Donnie Brasco.
