The Eternals begin millions of years ago when the cosmic beings known as the Celestials genetically experiment on humans, creating the super-powered and near-immortal beings and a more monstrous off-shoot known as the Deviants. The two races move behind the scenes throughout human history while also engaging in cosmic powerplays. Among the Eternals are Ikaris, fueled by cosmic energy; Sersi, who relishes moving amongst humans; and Thena, often mistaken for the Greek goddess Athena.

For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a Super Hero. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance.
