After two deputy sheriffs lose their jobs because of poor arrest records, they purse an escaped convict to try and win back their badges. But nabbing the convict won’t be half as dangerous as facing the ruthless sheriff who is tracking their every move.

Rick Wershe, a teen living in Detroit in the 1980s, joins the ranks of the drug kingpins on the East Side to become a prolific cocaine trafficker, going by the name "White Boy Rick." Wershe works as an undercover informant for the FBI and DEA while simultaneously rising to become one of the biggest drug dealers in the city.

Follows a Jackson Maine (Bradley Cooper), a country music star who is on the brink of decline when he discovers a talented unknown named Ally (Stefani Germanotta). As the two begin a passionate love affair, Jack coaxes Ally into the spotlight, catapulting her to stardom. But as Ally’s career quickly eclipses his own, Jack finds it increasingly hard to handle his fading glory.
