B.O.O. is a supernatural action comedy [that] follows two bumbling apparitions who find themselves in an extraordinary afterlife adventure when they join the Bureau of Otherworldly Operations (B.O.O.) -- the ghost world’s elite counter-haunting unit -- and ultimately must face off against the planet’s greatest haunter.

Lobo, a large and gruff bounty hunter, roams the starways looking for new work to sink his teeth into. Landing on earth in search of 4 interstellar fugitives, he is assisted by a teenage girl to track them down.

The logline is being kept under wraps, but Popeye's love interest Olive Oyl, nemesis Bluto and adopted child Swee'Pea will be part of the adventure. Producer Avi Arad says the new version will cover the themes of friendship, love, greed and life and focus on human strengths and human frailties.
