Waging his one-man war on the world of organized crime, ruthless vigilante-hero Frank Castle sets his sights on overeager mob boss Billy Russoti. "The Spirit" is a classic action-adventure-romance genre-twister written for the screen and directed by Frank Miller. The story is based on the Chinese legend of the monkey king, and follows a teenager who finds the king's stick weapon in a pawn shop. The teen is transported back in time to ancient China, where he joins with some warriors as they attempt to free their king. Jet Li will play two roles - the monkey king and the silent monk. Jackie Chan will play monk T'sa-Ho.
