Twenty-five years after a streak of brutal murders shocked the quiet town of Woodsboro, a new killer has donned the Ghostface mask and begins targeting a group of teenagers to resurrect secrets from the town’s deadly past.

The film revolves around a group of friends who escape to a modern-day Woodstock concert for a weekend of debauchery, only to be stalked by a fanatical killer determined to finish what he started years earlier.

An emerging rock band, managed by industry vet Jimmy Kleen (Arquette), strikes a deal with record executive Rick Roland (Wilson). Things take a sinister turn when the band’s lead singer, Rachel (Gonino), and her mother, Barb (Reeves) are struck by lightning and killed. Rachel is brought back to life, but she is different than before. Lightning courses through her veins and she uses her new strange electrical powers to drain the life from men, turning it into electrifying stage performances, but just how far are the band willing to go to make it.

The supernatural thriller takes place on Halloween in 1969, following 21-year-old New England college student Alan Parker (Jonathan Jackson). Distraught that his girlfriend (Erika Christensen) has broken up with him, he attempts suicide but fails and then learns that his beloved mother (Barbara Hershey) has had a stroke. Hitchhiking through rural Maine to visit her bedside, the young man is picked up by a mysterious driver (David Arquette) who carries his own haunting secrets.

And when the escalating terror finally brings her out of hiding, Sidney and other Woodsboro survivors are once again drawn into an insidious game of horror movie mayhem. But just when they thought they knew how to play by the rules, they discover that all the rules have been broken.

Afer a series of mysterious deaths, a seemingly peaceful community becomes a place where no one is safe ... and everyone is suspect! That's when an offbeat group of friends rally to unlock the town's deadly secrets.
