Edgar-Jones stars as Kate Cooper, a former storm chaser haunted by a devastating encounter with a tornado during her college years who now studies storm patterns on screens safely in New York City. Gary Oldman will play Carnegie, the despot of a small makeshift town deficient of standard necessities, services, and most noticeably, laws. Carnegie is determined to take possession of the book Eli is guarding.

A Los Angeles-based story that will deviate from the forgotten-debauchery formula of the first two films. It's safe to say a reunion between Stu and Jade is on the itinerary.
