Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them opens in 1926 as Newt Scamander has just completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures. Switters, the protagonist, is an errand boy for the CIA, a secret lover of Broadway show tunes and a pedophile. Against Tess'' better judgment, the search rekindles her love--of discovery. But they are not the only ones after the treasure.
