Alice and Peter are celebrating their retirement – and with it, a new phase in their lives. However, shortly after the couple’s retirement party, a sudden tragedy befalls Alice’s best friend Magalie. Having lost her husband several years earlier, Mackenzie has all but given up on the idea of “happily ever after,” but Eleanor is bound and determined to give Mackenzie a happiness makeover, whether she likes it or not.

After Andy Goodrich’s second wife suddenly leaves him, he is faced with taking sole care of their nine-year-old twins and relies a little too heavily on the help of his adult daughter who struggles to help Andy become the father she never had.

The story centers on Doug Glatt, a bouncer (Seann William Scott) who has been touched by the fist of God. Upon discovering both his right hook and skates, he joins a downtrodden hockey team and inspires them into new heights. Jay Baruchel is Glatt's best friend. Alison Pill plays the female lead role of while Marc-Andre Grondin plays a French-Canadian star hockey player.

While collecting junk one day, best friends Sonny and Sam meet Slappy, a mischievous talking dummy from an unpublished "Goosebumps" book by R.L. Stine. Hoping to start his own family, Slappy kidnaps Sonny's mother and brings all of his ghoulish friends back to life -- just in time for Halloween. As the sleepy town becomes overrun with monsters, witches and other mysterious creatures, Sonny joins forces with his sister, Sam and a kindly neighbor to save Sonny's mom and foil Slappy's plan.

His flamboyant style, charm and ruthless personae made him the most famous mobster in the 20th Century. The story, told through the eyes of his eldest son John Gotti, Jr. delves into the past and explores Gotti’s epic rise and fall in the mob. He earned the name “Teflon Don” by the media whom he did not shy away from, due to the FBI’s numerous unsuccessful attempts to convict Gotti. At the end, he was sentenced to life in prison, and a young 24 year old Gotti Jr. becomes the acting Boss of the Family. Gotti Jr. is also investigated and arrested in his own connections to crime by the FBI. Gotti Jr. ultimately rejects the legacy he was born into, and walks away a “civilian”.

On Erin Island, an idyllic fishing village off the coast of Ireland, charming but somewhat work-shy Ciaran O’Shea, is tasked with greeting Lisa Nolan, a straight-laced young officer who has arrived from the mainland. Not that there is much for them to do, aside from dealing with the occasional drunk, and that’s usually O’Shea himself. But strange doings are afoot: the crew of a fishing boat disappears, whales start appearing dead on the shore, a local lobsterman catches a strange tentacled creature in his trap. Soon it becomes clear to O’Shea and Nolan that there’s something big out there, and that it’s hungry. It’s time to rally the villagers, arm the troops…and head to the pub.
