The story of 16-year-old Emily Smith-Dungy, an incredibly motivated uber-achiever, who has grown increasingly frustrated with her parents’ lack of parental support and guidance. Frances has a best friend named Sophie, butthey aren’t really speaking anymore. Frances throws herself headlong into her dreams, even as their possible reality dwindles. Frances wants so much more than she has but lives her life with unaccountable joy and lightness.
