Lyra Belacqua is an orphan who lives happily in Jordan College, Oxford, playing with local boys and terrorizing the professors. Academy Award winner Hilary Swank stars in an inspirational film, based on the true story of teacher Erin Gruwell and her students the Freedom Writers. This group of inner city, at risk students defied the odds to be heard, as Gruwell urges her class to tell their stories through journals writing. Given the ability to express themselves through words and not violence, the kids begin to see connections to eachother that they never knew existed.

It's based on the Marvel Comics book character, Johnny Blaze, a motorcycle stuntman who becomes the host of a "spirit of vengeance" in exchange for the safety of his true love, but at night he's transformed into a fiery demon with superpowers who chases the bad guys.

"Grace is Gone" is a heart-wrenching drama about a young father (John Cusack) whose soldier wife has just been killed in Iraq. Rather than tell his two daughters the news, he decides to take them on a cross-country road trip to an amusement park. The story was inspired by a similar trip the film's director James C. Strouse made with his older brother and his two children several years ago.
