In the heart of the 1970s, amid a flurry of feathered hair and flared jeans, Gru is growing up in the suburbs. And with their grandma's help both girls go on to chase their dreams of being a singer and a barrel racer.

Finland's Independence Day celebration on December 6 is crudely interrupted by an attack on the Presidential Palace. A set of distinguished guests are taken as hostages.
