The film, following the classic Marvel mythology, charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga. Dominion takes place four years after Isla Nublar has been destroyed. Dinosaurs now live—and hunt—alongside humans all over the world. The logline is being kept under wraps, although it is known Sherlock Holmes (Robert Downey Jr.), and his longtime trusted associate, Dr. Watson (Jude Law), will face off against Moriarty (Jared Harris). Also making an appearance will be Holmes' brother, Mycroft. Noomi Rapace's role is shrouded in mystery although sources say the character may be a French Gypsy. It is unclear if the role is romantic in nature.

Over many missions and against impossible odds, Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his family have outsmarted, out-nerved and outdriven every foe in their path. Now, they confront the most lethal opponent they’ve ever faced: A terrifying threat emerging from the shadows of the past who’s fueled by blood revenge, and who is determined to shatter this family and destroy everything—and everyone—that Dom loves, forever.

Set 10 years after the last installment, the film will pick up with the Lamberts as Dalton (Simpkins) begins college.

Set in Istanbul, Liam Neeson returns as Bryan Mills, the CIA agent with "a particular set of skills" for hunting down bad guys, but this time his daughter (Maggie Grace) has to help rescue him when associates of the villains he killed the first time around decide to get their revenge.
