A story of four orphan teenagers growing up behind the closed doors of a catholic convent in outback Australia. For years the boys watch the younger orphaned kids leave with their newly adopted parents, and have finally come to the realization their time may never come. The Reverend Mother gives the boys something to look forward to by sending them to visit the seaside for the first time. Their long awaited vacation doesn't turn out the way they planned until they meet Teresa and Fearless, a young autocratic couple who would make the perfect parents. Now as grown men, they reflect back on the '60s when, as boys, they spent their first tumultuous summer by the sea, as they sabotaged each other's efforts to be the 'chosen one'--only to discover that the real meaning behind what it is to be a family.

The third and final installment of the $100 million "Resident Evil" hits, "Resident Evil: Extinction" is again based on the wildly popular video game series and picks up where the last film left off. Alice (Milla Jovovich), now in hiding in the Nevada desert, once again joins forces with Carlos Olivera (Oded Fehr) and L.J. (Mike Epps), along with new survivors Claire (Ali Larter), K-Mart (Spencer Locke) and Nurse Betty (Ashanti) to try to eliminate the deadly virus that threatens to make every human being undead... and to seek justice. Since being captured by the Umbrella Corporation, Alice has been subjected to biogenic experimentation and becomes genetically altered, with super-human strengths, senses and dexterity. These skills, and more, will be needed if anyone is to remain alive.

The film co-stars Brad Garrett as Alex's steadfast manager, Kristen Johnston as Sophie's sister, Rhonda, and Campbell Scott as Sophie's novelist ex-boyfriend. Newcomer Haley Bennett plays young, pop princess Cora Corman.

A woman is widowed when her husband dies suddenly, leaving her alone with two children. She decides to invite her husband's troubled best friend to live with them and, as the friend turns his life around, he helps the fractured family confront the emotional void left by the loss.

The story details the real-life battle of Thermopylae, in which King Leonidas (Butler) and 300 Spartan warriors fought to the death against the massive Persian army. According to lore, their bravery led to Greece uniting and giving rise to democracy. Headey will play the role of Queen Gorgo, Leonidas' wife.

Homer Simpson must save the world from a catastrophe he himself created.
